Last month, Audi announced a partnership with Navistar, owners of IC Bus and International truck brands, in an effort to enhance and demonstrate vehicle and school bus safety standards. The two companies aim to improve and increase the deployment of C-V2X (Cellular vehicle-to-everything), a technology that facilitates communication from vehicle to vehicle, as well as pedestrians or stationary objects like traffic lights.

C-V2X technology will provide Audi drivers with real-time warnings to enhance road safety and help prevent collisions, as well as warn school bus and emergency vehicle drivers of fast-approaching vehicles near intersections and bus stops. It will also be able to alert Audi drivers to stopped school buses nearby and provide directional information of approaching emergency vehicles.

Audi is already a leader in automotive technology, developing and implementing leading-edge connectivity features and advanced driving aids. If you'd like to experience Audi's current tech offerings for yourself, get in touch with or visit Audi Chantilly. We'll be happy to show you around.
