A couple of months ago, we told you about Audi of America adding the e-tron® Sportback to its Silvercar by Audi lineup, making the premium rental service the only of its kind to offer the versatile all-electric crossover on its roster. Last week, the Herndon-based company announced changes to the service, aimed at providing more flexibility and access to Audi vehicles in order to adapt to customers' evolving mobility needs. Among those changes was a name change to "Audi on demand."

Through participating dealerships like Audi Chantilly, Audi on demand offers a rental experience with flexible terms—including daily, weekly, and monthly rentals—and more convenient pick-up and delivery options. The rebrand also offers the option for long-term rentals of up to a year in certain cases.

"Consumer behaviors are changing, and Audi is listening," stated Sara Whiffen, Audi of America's VP of Strategy, Mobility & Retail Operations. "Audi on demand allows us to meet the growing need for short-term and long-term mobility experiences–local rental options, longer test drives, flexible short-term transportation, and lease bridges–addressing consumer demands and expectations in today's rapidly changing travel environment."
