For years, Audi has allowed drivers to connect Apple and Android devices to their vehicles. But we're often asked how you connect the phone to the car. Since this is a common question, we thought we'd take the time and give you a step-by-step breakdown. So, read on to learn how to connect your Apple or Android device.

Synching Your Apple or Android Phone

Connecting your Apple or Android requires you to access the phone's Bluetooth. The following is a guide on how to set up your device.

  1. Ensure Bluetooth is activated on your phone
  2. Turn your vehicle on, and put it in Park
  3. On the infotainment system, press Phone > Connect Mobile Device. The system will now begin searching for your Apple or Android device
  4. Select your device from the touchscreen, and a PIN will appear on the screen and phone. Confirm the PIN matches on both devices
  5. Confirm all messages that appear on your phone. On iPhone, a prompt will appear asking to enable Wireless CarPlay. Do Not click Not Now you’ll disable your Bluetooth connection.
  6. Your mobile device will now be paired. As long as your Audi is turned on, your phone will be automatically connected while Bluetooth is enabled
