Are you a fan of the current Audi Q6 e-tron? Ever wish it offered better performance? You’re in luck, as in 2025, Audi will be releasing such a model called the SQ6 e-tron. This sportier model will share the same platform as the Q6 and feature all-wheel drive. Information about the model is limited, but continue reading to find out what we’ve learned.

Highlights of the Audi SQ6 e-tron

As a performance-driven version model, the SQ6 e-tron will offer an estimated 482 horsepower. This is significantly more than the 395-hp offered in the Q6. Though performance can be further enhanced to 509 hp with Boost enabled.

To reach such power, Audi has given the SQ6 e-tron an 800-volt, 93.0-kWh (estimated) battery pack. With this battery, not only will this new SUV be strong, but it will be quick to charge, too. Audi says the SQ6 e-tron can go from 10 to 80 percent in under 30 minutes. However, this is only achieved when at the max charge rate of 270 kW.

While no official word has been given about the SQ6 e-tron’s range, we expect it to be less than the Q6. This is due to the model offering more power. Currently, the Q6 has about 340 miles of range - we suspect the SQ6 will not travel as far.
