2023 Audi e-tron shown
First introduced for the 2019 model year, the Audi e-tron kicked off the next generation of Audi electric vehicles in style, offering premium accommodations, practical range, and signature Audi design and craftsmanship. This summer, the battery-powered midsize luxury crossover will embark on a new era, boasting increased driving range, faster charging, and more engaging driving dynamics. To signify the model's evolution and align with the automaker's EV branding, the Audi e-tron will enter the 2024 model year as the Audi Q8 e-tron. Here's a quick look at a few highlights.
Upgraded Performance, Range, and Charging
The 2024 Audi Q8 e-tron is powered by pair of potent electric motors, outputting a quattro® all-wheel-driving 355 horsepower and 414 pound-feet of torque during everyday driving. Selecting "Sport" mode temporarily unlocks 402 horsepower and 490 pound-feet of torque, allowing it to sprint to 60 mph from a standstill in just ~5.3 seconds.
A new 106-kWh battery pack provides an impressive 300 miles of estimated range. And with new 170-kW charging capability, the Q8 e-tron can replenish its battery from 10 to 80 percent in ~31 minutes at a compatible station. Level 2 (240-volt) charge times range from 6.5 hours (at 19.2-kW) to 13 hours (at 9.6-kW). Q8 e-tron buyers will enjoy two years of complimentary charging on the Electrify America DC fast-charging network.
Accommodations and Tech
The 2024 Audi Q8 e-tron offers spacious and upscale accommodations for five passengers, with standard four-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats, and a panoramic glass roof. Premium Plus and Prestige trims also add three-stage seat ventilation. The MMI system features two high-resolution touchscreens—a 10.1-inch display for infotainment and a haptic 8.6-inch display for cabin controls. All models also include a customizable Audi virtual cockpit gauge cluster.
The 2024 Q8 e-tron Arrives this Summer
