Audi Considers Opening New U.S. Production Plants

Audi is one of many foreign car manufacturers exploring plans to expand its U.S. operations. The current plan is to open up to three new production facilities. The move would allow Audi to manufacture vehicles domestically and avoid import tariffs. Opening new plants would enable Audi to build some of its most popular models on American soil. Local production could include SUVs like the Q5 and Q7, along with EVs like the Q4 e-tron and Q8-e-tron.
