The on-sale date of the 2023 Q4 e-tron has arrived, bringing a new rear-wheel-drive variant, the Q4 40 e-tron, for drivers who prefer extra range over more horsepower. The new model year also introduces a stylish new coupe-like version, the Q4 Sportback 50 e-tron. The addition of a Sportback model to the Q4 e-tron lineup brings Audi's EV count to five—more than any other US-market automaker. Audi's goal with the Q4 e-tron portfolio is to help discerning drivers make a seamless transition to EV ownership. 2023 Audi Q4 e-tron Highlights
For 2023, the Audi Q4 e-tron is now available in three unique variants. The original Q4 50 e-tron quattro® leverages a dual-motor setup with 295 horsepower, 339 pound-feet of torque, and an EPA-estimated range of 236 miles from the 77-kWh battery. For Virginia drivers prioritizing range over performance, the new Q4 40 e-tron uses a single-motor RWD powertrain (201 horsepower, 229 lb-ft) that provides an estimated 265 miles between charges. Finally, the new Q4 Sportback 50 e-tron has the same powertrain as the standard Q4 50 e-tron but benefits from a stylish and sleek profile to boost its range slightly to 242 miles.
Q4 e-tron models offer ample practicality, with 24.8 cubic feet for cargo behind the rear seats and up to 53.1 with the second row folded (26.1 and 54.4 for the Q4 Sportback e-tron). All Q4 e-tron models come standard with an 11.6-inch touchscreen and Audi's innovative and intuitive MMI infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto integration. You'll also get a customizable Audi virtual cockpit instrument panel and a full roster of advanced driver-assist technologies.
